Special Presentation to Sean Bloomfield and Colton Witte for their canoe adventure on the rivers from Chaska to Hudson Bay. To be presented by the Chaska Mayor Gary Van Eyll, on behalf of the City of Chaska on Friday, 7:45 at the Gazebo (intermission of the MN Valley Community Band). Meet and Greet the Chaska adventurers at the' Belgian Waffle Breakfast in the Park' on Sunday morning. Also, they will be the Grand Marshalls at the RCD Parade following the breakfast.

A kicking progressive country rock band with smoking guitar licks and hot fiddle solos. Brittany Lee has performed across the country and recently recorded in Nashville. Chaska Community Choir - A perfect way to top off a great week-end of activities of River City Days. Performing their annual concert in the air conditioned comfort of the Chaska High School. Chaska Middle School Jazz Ensemble and Garage Band - come and listen to the Jazz ensemble under the direction of Eric Songer and the Garade Band under the co-direction of Eric and Heidi Songer. This is their first performance at RCD. Karaoke-Special Edition-RCD- So you think you can sing? Come to the RCD Info Booth to sign up. CHASKA HISTORICAL SOCIETY -Exhibits - "Two Faiths - 150 Years - The Moravian and Catholic Churches in Chaska." Through many years, these institutions of faith endured. Look at this display through stained glass of two faiths. Faiths that encouraged bonds in the community beyond the family; that welcomed newcomers whose shared faith brought smiles. Faiths that gave thousands hope when flood, fire and storms destroyed all they had. Faiths that underlined and continue to underline the values of integrity, honesty and service to others that still hold true in Chaska today. BEACH BASH 2008 - On Friday enjoy an afternoon of fun at the
Chaska Clayhole Beach/Firemans Park. Free admission. There will be games for all ages including water relays,
scavenger hunt, and a variety of group activities.

FISHING CONTEST - Saturday
at Clay hole Beach at Firemans Park. Registration is from 10:15 -
10:45am.
Contest starts at 10:45 and ends at 11:30am.
Bring your own poles and hooks- bait will be provided.
Parent supervision is required.
Prizes will be awarded for the first fish caught and the three
largest fish caught.
There will be other drawings as well.

Area fire fighters will battle for the River City Days Title.
This wet and wild exhibition is organized by the Chaska Fire

OF CHASKA COMMUNITY LIBRARY USED BOOK SALE- Used book sale will be held at
the City Hall Plaza on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm, Friday from 9am-8pm, and
Saturday from 9am-2pm.
Proceeds are used to enhance the Chaska Library and educational
programming. RIVER VALLEY DANCE ACADEMY - Presenting dance routines. NATIONAL
KARATE SCHOOL- American Hard style Tae Kwon Do.
Students ages 4-64 will demonstrate discipline and power whole
showing friends and family their fun new moves. RIVER
CITY MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY -Presenting Kung Fu,
Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido and other martial arts and weapons forms.
Performance by our demonstration team and students of other varied
styles. MARTIAL ARTS AMERICA - The family club will be demonstrating many facets of the martial arts, including: Tae Kwon Do (Korean Karate), Jujitsu (a throwing/wrestling art), and Eskrima (Philippino stick fighting). ATA AMERICAN - (American Tae Kwon Do) Students will demonstrate hand and foot techniques while emphasizing control, focus and confidence skills. CHASKA
ROTARY STEAK AND CHICKEN FRY - Prepared and served by the Chaska Rotary
Club. Serving
a choice of Ribeye Steak or Chicken Breast, with corn on the cob,
potato salad and trimmings.
Adults $12.50, Kids 12 and under $6.50. Saturday 5-8pm - City Square Park RIVER CITY RUN - 5 k RUN OR 2 Fun Walk - Saturday (Note day change-in past it was on Sunday) Race/Walk starts at 7:30; Registration at 6:30am. Course to be determined at a later date. Trophies and Medals awarded. Proceeds to local charity. Pre-registration is recommended. COUPLES
GOLF SCRAMBLE - A golf scramble will be held at the Chaska Par 30 on
Sunday, July 27th, 7am-4pm.
Green fees are $12.00 per person. (Pull cart included in fee).
Each team will consist of one man and one woman who play the best
of their two shots throughout the round, with 1st and 2nd place trophies
awarded.
Register the day of the event at Par 30.
