The Chaska Area Jaycees and Chaska River City Days Committee invite you to participate in the 2008 River City Days parade to be held in conjunction with River City Days on Sunday, July 27th, 2008 beginning at 1pm in beautiful downtown Chaska.
This invitation is open for you to bring a unit to represent your local business, group or organization to the community during our summer festival or provide the committee with a donation to assist in covering some of the costs associated with this event.
Below you will find an application and additional information about this event. Once we have your confirmation that your organization or group has confirmed your space in the parade route, we will send you additional information on the parade route, parade rules and any further information.

Registration: $30.00 per organization, group, local business, etc.
I/We hereby understand and agree to accept the risk of bodily injury and property damage, which I/We may incur or cause to a third party to incur as a result of my/our participation in the River City Days Parade. With this I understand, I/We further agree to indemnify, defend and save harmless the volunteers, sponsors (Chaska Area Jaycees and River City Days Committee) from and against any and all claims, losses, injuries, suits and judgments arising from, or in connection with my/our successors, assigns, heirs, executors and administrators, any other persons or entities who/which may have a claim based on my/our personal injuries and/or property damage.

parade to celebrate our annual Chaska River City Days!
Before the Parade, join us for breakfast - serving up tasty “Dad’s Belgian Waffles “with 7 varieties of syrups and toppings (all you care to eat) and sausage, Dunn Bros. coffee and juice. $6.00 for Adults (13+), $3.00 (for ages 6-12), and children 5 and under free! Music during the breakfast is provided by the Chaska Music Studios. Breakfast will be served in City Square Park under the Big Tent from 9:00AM to 12:30. All proceeds to be donated to Eastern Carver County Love INC.
PARADE:
1:00PM. The parade
route begins on 4th St East and Beech Street.
The route will travel down 4th St to Ash, right on Ash to 5th St, left on
5th to Oak Street. (Around by Auburn Manor)
Left on Oak St. to 2nd Street, then turning left and heading back to
Beech Street. Preferred viewing area
will be along 4th St and around the Auburn Manor area.
(Parking will be available in the St. Johns Lutheran parking area with an
area set aside for Handicap Parking and viewing.)
