The sanctuary will be open for prayer and meditation. Also available, a nursing station for moms and babies.

5K Run/ Fun Walk to End Domestic Violence

@ City Square Park 

The 5 K Run is a USATF Sanctioned Event.  The 5K run starts and ends near Chaska’s notable City Square Park in downtown Chaska.  Participants run on paved asphalt through downtown Chaska then along the Minnesota River which lead them to and onto part of our winding paved trail system. Trophies and Medals awarded to the 5 K runners.


FUN WALK: Walkers will be guided down and around Courthouse Lake.  Group rates for family and friends.  Strollers Welcome.

 

Proceeds to benefit the Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women.
Pre-registration is recommended, but also can register on race day.

Family Service Fair - A Thrivent Community Event

@ The Big Tent

We will have 5 different hands-on projects that will help support some local non-profits who are making a difference in our community. Each participating family will get a passport card and are asked to complete the project at each station to get a stamp on their card. After completing all of the stations, they will turn their cards in to get a treat!

Pre-registration is not required, however, there will only be a limited about of passport cards available. Current Thrivent members can reserve a passport card ahead of the event if they would like to have guaranteed participation in the event. Couples Golf Scramble

A golf scramble will be held at the Chaska Par 30 on Sunday, July 26th, 7am-4pm. Green fees are $12.00 per person. (Pull cart included in fee).  Each team will consist of one man and one woman who play the best of their two shots throughout the round, with 1st and 2nd place trophies awarded. Join us for a delicious hot breakfast of pancakes, sausage, real fruit toppings, orange drink/coffee prepared by Chef Bob DeMaris and crew.  Prepared and served under the tent on Walnut Street at the City Square Park.  Proceeds will benefit Love INC.  Love INC of Eastern Carver County provides a means for local area churches and other organizations of our community to work together to serve those among us who are in need of assistance.  We work in partnership with CAP, Carver County, PROP and other local agencies.

Class Car Show sponsored by Chaska Auto Pros. A variety of car clubs from the area will be showcasing their cars at the RCD Community Parade on Sunday (1:00pm) and then parking in the City Square Park following the parade.  Public is invited to vote on their favorite ride!

True Top 30, and everyone can vote!  Winners go home with a RCD Car Show Trophy!
