Good for Gary
SATURDAY, July 24th:
Good for Gary, 8:00pm - 12:00am
The Twin Cities most entertaining live top 40 cover band!
Good for Gary is a Twin Cities cover band that specializes in playing current and past dance hits, focusing on the newest Top 40 songs. With a 7-piece line-up, there’s no hip-hop, pop, or dance song they can’t cover. You will hear some Iggy Azalea, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Macklemore and old school jams at every show. Check out the rest of the songlist and you will get a taste of what Good for Gary is capable of.
The members of Good for Gary had been playing in Minnesota clubs for years in other bands and noticed that people love to dance to the music that the DJ plays during the set breaks. Most bands leave that stuff to the DJs, but Good for Gary is bringing dance music directly to the stage. With six years of playing nearly every weekend, Good for Gary has built a devoted local following and an electrifying live show.
Being a seven-piece band stocked with accomplished musicians, Good for Gary plays every note live with no backing tracks. The band’s humor and enthusiasm shines through in their bar-rocking, stage-jumping performances. Their devotion to getting people moving and staying current with today’s top hits is making Good for Gary one of the most exciting and sought-after cover bands in the Twin Cities.
Becky Rae Dalton
SATURDAY, July 24th:
Becky Rae Dalton, 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Minneapolis singer/songwriter Becky Rae Dalton has gracefully emerged onto the Twin Cities music scene connecting with audiences through her powerful vocals, catchy lyrics, and authentic performances. After 16 years of writing and performing music, Becky Rae finishes a three year journey of creating her debut album Ready or Not. The indie/folk/country album is available on iTunes and Amazon.
Based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, she developed her love for singing at the music day care she attended where she learned piano and singing in festivals. She played drums in school band but her desire to sing took over and after high school she went to McNally Smith and graduated with a Vocal Performance degree in 2001. After college, she joined her first original band and started her adventure as a songwriter. Her early influences were in alternative and folk music, and over the years, she has developed a liking for pop, blues and country. A few favorites are Sia, Bonnie Raitt, and Miranda Lambert.
FRIDAY, July 23rd:
Devon Worley, 8:30pm - 12:00am
The Devon Worley Band was forged out of raw talent. Devon’s undeniable ability drew top-tier touring musicians to her side at a very early age. While every other teenage girl was hanging out at the mall snap chatting their boyfriends, Devon’s teenage years were spent paying dues, traveling with her band, and touring relentlessly across the heartland; playing just about every bar, fair and festival in the grain belt.
Now in her early 20’s, Devon Worley and her band have taken the Midwest music scene by storm and are garnering critical acclaim and national attention. Their latest full length album “The Sunrise Resistance” has caught the attention of not only country music fans across the country, but also Nashville insiders eager to see more of the band’s no-rules writing style.
Riding their own raw edge of country and rock, this band is turning heads and making waves, while bringing a brand new attitude to country music. From their songwriting style to their studio recordings, the girl and her band are forging their own unique path. However, their true love is the stage. Their passion for the live show, the audience and their fans is evident; and their talent undeniable.
Catch a show, grab yourself a seat and get ready to be blown away! Welcome to the future.
