Parking, Transportation, & Facilities
Location of Event:
The City Square Park does not have an official address, however you can use the address of 300 N Chestnut St., Chaska MN 55318.
Streets bordering the City Square Park will be closed to parking. No parking zones will be enforced along Hwy 41 (west side) of City Square Park, 4th Street will be closed between Hwy 41 and Walnut (north side of City Square Park)
Walnut Street between 3rd and 4th St. will be closed from 6AM Thursday July 23, 2020 to 12PM Sunday July 26, 2020. This is the site of the Main Stage Entertainment tent location.
4th Street East (Hwy 41/Chestnut to Walnut St) will be closed from 12:00 noon on Friday to 11pm Saturday. Also closed on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
3rd St. East (Hwy 41/Chestnut to Beech St) will be closed briefly on Sat, July 28 from 8:00am to 9:00 am for the 5K Run and Fun Walk.
Parking is available on all city streets unless otherwise posted. Please respect business and residential parking areas. Thank you!
Handicap Parking spaces will be available around City Square Park. The spaces will be marked with temporary Handicap Parking signs.
Pets are not allowed in the City Square Park during the event per city ordinance.
Carver Scott Breastfeeding Coalition:
will have a private comfortable space in the Moravian Church (north side of City Square Park) for mother’s who wish to relax with their infant. The space will be available on Friday from 4pm-8:30pm and Saturday 11am-5:30pm.
Bicycles, skateboards and other like recreational modes of transportation will not be allowed to be ridden in the park or adjacent sidewalks and streets for the safety of the attendees.
Only approved vendors by the Chaska River City Days Committee are allowed to vend, dispense, or sell from their booths/area in the City Square Park during the RCD event. Vendors, individuals, groups, etc. that have not been approved will not be allowed to vend, dispense or sell in and around the City Square Park, Fireman’s Park, City Square Plaza, or any other locations in which the RCD festival is located.
Lost and Found:
Lost items can be turned in to the RCD Info booth during the event.
Portable restrooms are located on the corner of Walnut and 3rd St. (Handicap accessibility)
